It’s Labour Day Weekend and I am not in The Hamptons. I’m sitting at home in sweats. After today, nobody is going to tell me that I can’t wear white. I have a pair of white jeans that still need to be worn the f*ck out of.
I’m really into pullovers right now, especially the printed kind. You can throw them on with a pair of jeans, sick earrings, and you’re set for the day.
I am especially fond of this Marie Antoinette print pullover by Sister by Sibling:
However, according to Marie Claire, it retails for $1,940.00 USD. Not for us commoners who don’t have platinum credit cards. I’d wear the sweater front row with a pair of slacks and a pair of heels like these:
They’re Jeffrey Campbell Solitaire heels and retail for about $150.00 USD. I’m going “budget” on the heels, because that way people will think I’m down to earth.
When reality hits, I realize that $1,940.00 USD isn’t pocket change for me. The heels, on the other hand, are totally doable. So how do I compromise with the Sister by Sibling sweater? A-ha! Solution:
Badass Frida Kahlo in a Daft Punk tee by 1991INC for $65.00 USD. Compromises, people. Compromises. And it totally doesn’t screw up your credit! There’s a large selection of random tops you can choose from at 1991inc.com
